The Assistive Technology Sector is an extremely important part of modern-day care management. The equipment it provides transforms lives, facilitating those with a need to improve independence and enhance safer living.

For more detail regarding the H and T Society please click here:

The Society aims to recognise job competences and raise standards, as well as giving Members of the public, and healthcare professionals the confidence that if they deal with a Member they are dealing with someone who is bound by a Code of Conduct and is trustworthy.

Every registered individual has an identity card and a certificate of proof of his registration (and at what level). There is a special Code of Conduct for the scheme, too, which every member agrees to follow.

The following is a quote from the The Healthcare and Assistive Technology Society, HATS, (launched by the BHTA) and indicates their aim to keep you safer if you deal with a Registered Person.

Colne Mobility Engineers will carry a badge to prove their registration with HATS.
